lemon rally

A creative workshop studio

Good ideas
need a little
back & forth.

We help small teams untangle big questions, build on each other’s ideas and work out what to do next.

Find a fresh direction A clear question. A room for ideas. A useful next step.
Ideas get better in the rallyAn illustrated court connects a question, shared ideas and a next step through a bouncing dotted path. What if?Yes, and…Let’s try this.
The Lemon Rally methodThink ↔ Make ↔ Decide
For teams with something to work outBring the question. We’ll bring the structure.

01 / Room to make progress

Different sticking points.
A session for each.

From an early hunch to a decision that keeps getting deferred, choose a starting point that matches where your team is today.

01 / Find the focus

The Clarity Rally

For teams with too many priorities and no shared starting point. Surface assumptions, compare perspectives and define the question worth answering.

Work towardA shared brief, a focused challenge and clear boundaries.

02 / Open it up

The Ideas Rally

For a defined challenge that needs fresh possibilities. Generate concepts, build on unexpected connections and compare ideas against useful criteria.

Work towardA shortlist of developed ideas and reasons to explore each.

03 / Move it forward

The Action Rally

For teams with promising ideas but an unclear next move. Make the tradeoffs visible, choose what to test and map the work into manageable steps.

Work towardA practical experiment, named responsibilities and a review point.

02 / Structure meets spontaneity

Not every idea
needs a louder
voice.

Good collaboration gives people space to think before asking them to speak. Our sessions move between individual reflection, small-group exploration and shared decisions.

There’s room for a wild thought. There’s also a way to decide what deserves the next round.

  • 01A question everyone can understand.
  • 02Different ways to contribute.
  • 03A record of decisions and open questions.
Field notes / Our approach↗

Make space.
Then make something
of it.

①
Think on your own.Get beyond the first answer in the room.
②
Build together.Connect, challenge and develop the ideas.
③
Choose with intention.Use shared criteria to find the next move.
A little less “any other thoughts?”

03 / Before, during & after

A workshop is a moment.
Make it count.

The useful work starts before everyone arrives and continues after the conversation ends. Here’s how we shape the session around the question.

01.

Frame the real question

Identify what’s stuck, who needs to contribute and what a useful outcome would look like. Agree what belongs in the session and what doesn’t.

02.

Work it out together

Follow a purposeful sequence of prompts, making and discussion. Capture different perspectives before moving toward choices.

03.

Give the work somewhere to go

Bring the outputs into a readable record. Separate decisions from assumptions and identify the next actions the team needs to own.

Your starting point

Where are you
getting stuck?

Choose the closest match for a suggested session and a few questions to bring to your team.

Suggested starting point

The Clarity Rally

Start by agreeing which question matters most, before asking the team to solve it.

Bring these questions to your team:
  • What are we each trying to achieve?
  • Where do our priorities compete?
  • What needs a decision, and what needs more information?

A few useful answers

Before you
rally.

Do we need a fully formed brief?

No. A rough question, an unresolved decision or a recurring conversation is a useful starting point. The Clarity Rally is designed to help a team turn that uncertainty into a focused brief.

Is this only for creative teams?

The work is for teams that need to think together. A product question, a brand direction or an internal way of working can all benefit from a structured session. No design skills or drawing confidence are required.

How do we choose who should take part?

Start with the people who understand the question, the people affected by the outcome and someone able to move decisions forward. A useful mix of perspectives matters more than filling the room.

What should we prepare?

Gather relevant background, known constraints and any previous attempts to solve the problem. Keep it focused: a short account of what’s happening is more useful than an unfiltered document archive.

Does a workshop replace research?

No. A workshop can surface assumptions and identify what needs testing, but discussion alone cannot validate an idea. When evidence is missing, the next step may be research or a small experiment.

Can we book a session on this site?
